Review of Daughter's duty.

Title    : Daughter's Duty
Author : Namrata Paro
📖
Blurb:
In the bustling lanes of Mohanbagh Mohalla, lives the small yet loving Mishra Family. The eldest daughter, Pari Mishra, rumored to have a rare combination of brain & beauty, is a center of lots of unwanted attention. But, she doesn't have time to fool around with these fools. Her heart seeks something different, something special. And when she finally finds that someone, he is the one she shouldn't have fallen.
For family. For debt of their love.

A pure, desi small town tale about love, sacrifice and how far one can go for their family
📖
My take on the book:
The Daughter's Duty is a short story of a girl. Nothing more or nothing less. But the girl should be given due attention, she is fierce, sarcastic, ambitious, beautiful and loves her family. So pretty much a girl everyone wants to be. She has a goal in her life and allows no distraction, be it friends or love. But what happens when she falls in love?
📖
The book potrays a sweet tale of Paridhi Mishra and her family. The story details all the things that happens in a Indian household including father's love, mother's no heed advice, sister's bonding in a funny if melodramatic way. I loved the plot, it's hilarious and relatable at best. But the story lacks anything new or unexpected, even the ending. And also the cover could be more eye-catching.
📖
Overall, I loved Pari Mishra and her courage. A sweet short relaxing read for short story lovers.  All the best for the author and expect more from her.
